TiVo, Virgin, Sky, Sky Q and similar remote control use with Orbitsound products
#1
Some set top boxes come with a "universal" remote feature.

The only known remote that includes an Orbitsound code as part of its "universal" function is the Sky Q touch remote (not the standard Sky remote)

To get your Sky Q Touch remote to control your Soundbar please navigate to the following using your Sky remote:

Interactive button/Menu>Settings>Set up>Remote control>Control a speaker system:

Enter Orbitsound as the brand>

Select find it for me>

Try the volume and it should now work.

Please note that only the Touch part of the remote control may work to adjust the volume and not the actual Vol + and - buttons depending on your Sky remote software version.

For TiVo, Sky +, Sky Q (non Touch) and similar set top boxes only some codes are learnable by the A60, A70 and P70, in these cases try a few different TV manufacturer codes (if You have LG not LG, if You Have Sony not Sony etc.). In most instances, no Panasonic code will work.

Codes other customers have reported work well across most of these remotes are:

0023

0025

0018

1786

Sky Rev10, 3159, TV, then red+ select until two blinks, enter 3159 another two blinks press select.

TiVo TV clear until two green 0642 two green flashes again then press vol + and -.
The below are reported to work well with newer/later Sky Q non touch remotes.

Samsung code for Sky Q that works well 2079, use only if your TV is NOT a Samsung.

Non Samsung code for Sky Q that works well 0049, use only of your TV IS a Samsung

If you have a code that works well with a particular remote please list it below.

The above codes and methods WILL NOT WORK with any T, SB or M range product, for these products please try the methods below. The Spaced360 has no remote compatibility/function. The below methods will also work with the A60, A70 and P70.

The OneForAll remote code for our soundbars is Audio 4098, however in the case of some OneForAll remotes using their inbuilt learning function may be your best option.

We have had issues in the past as OneForAll and AllForOne are not in fact the same remote manufacturers.

It can also help the remote manufacturers to know the remote hex ID which is 08F7 or 2295 (which is the decimal equivalent, entering this as a code would be very unlikely to work) which could again be useful to the manufacturer in identifying the correct code for your remote.

Just bought Sony bravia tv with sony soundbar. Finally found code that works the soundbar via Sky Q remote. Pressed 1 and 3 buttons together until red light on remote flashes twice. Then pressed ? followed by 1786. Tried the volume on sky remote and it worked. Only thing is no volume number is shown on tv screen but it works.
