No sound when watching Netflix - Stuart - 04-01-2018

Hi there,

I've just bought a One P70 and am very pleased. One issue I am having is getting sound through the P70 when watching Netflix. I'm using the optical cable and my TV is a Panasonic TX L42ET60B.
My TV is also attached to a YouView box and a Panasonic Blue Ray player. Used both and sound is being fed through the P70.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Stuart,

It sounds as though the TV is not outputting the Netflix app as PCM, its a known/common issue with Panasonic TV's. Does Netflix work okay through the Blu Ray at all?

There is a setting now in the Netflix app on the TV that allows you to change the Audio stream format as I recall, I think though that you have to manually change this every time you use the service.
