Windows and Bluetooth Audio connected/paired but no music/audio - Simon D - 15-11-2018 In order to get Windows to use a soundbar as a Bluetooth Audio device it may be necessary to change the default Audio device in the windows tray/your player the first time you use the device, even if it appears connected/paired but no music is playing. In Windows 7 or earlier this can be accomplished directly in the taskbar/by the clock. In Windows 8 and above you may need to do so from within the control panel (not Settings, control panel), once the device is disconnected/the speaker is turned off/the source changed then the other speakers will become the default device. The next time you connect the Windows device the Soundbar/Speaker should automatically become the default device. |
