Our eCommerce platform issues three cookies: named “ASP.NET_SessionId”, one named “Session” and one called “SecSession”. All of these contain unique ids that have no specific meaning – they’re just keys to data within our database. They allow us to identify which basket the user has open, or which user is logged in. No personal information is stored within these cookies. The cookies are marked as “httpOnly” – this means that the browser will only communicated to our servers, and are not accessible via javascript, which also helps protect against cross site scripting accounts. Additionally the cookie “SecSession” is only issued over HTTPS and contains a separate key to help protected against “man in the middle” attacks

We also use Google Analytics to gain insights about our website to which helps us provide a better experience for our customers.
