Who are Orbitsound?
Orbitsound is a British speaker brand that puts audio first and are all about bringing great sound quality to your home. It was founded in 2009 by Ted Fletcher, who has more than 60 years experience in the music industry working as a musician, audio engineer, electronics and studio equipment designer.
Ted founded the company as a means to share Airsound technology outside of the studio via ultra high-quality products crafted with natural materials. Their mission is to enhance your audio experience every day.
What is Airsound?
Airsound is Orbitsound's unique and patented technology that overcomes the shortfalls of traditional stereo by delivering full and compelling spatial sound to every listener in the room. This means that you hear music perfectly, regardless of positioning, and there is no need for multiple speakers in order to enjoy authentic and accurate stereo sound, exactly as the artist intended.
In the beginning there was
Mono
Invented in the 1870s, mono sound provides a lower definition of sound from a single unit to a large area.
Then there was
Stereo
Invented in the 1930’s, stereo sound provides a higher definition of sound, but only to a very small area between the two speakers.
Airsound
Invented in 2005, Airsound provides a higher definition of sound from a single unit to a large listening area.
What do I win?
Orbitsound is offering up one of their best speakers to one lucky Gold Music listener; the DOCK E30. This compact speaker is a mighty sound system; Airsound™ technology delivers studio-quality audio to your kitchen, office or bedroom; all while wireless charging and USB-C fast charging your devices as you listen.
